He was born Sept 27th, 1992 in Syracuse NY, and left us June 17th 2022. | His passion in life was skateboarding. He touched the lives of many people across the world in his short time with us doing what he loved most. Many call him a legend. I called him my son.

Skate4Drew was established to commemorate Andrew Grabowski, who dedicated his life to becoming a top skateboarder. He realized his dream of turning pro before his passing. Andrew raised funds through a "gofundme" campaign to build "The Spot", a park where he aimed to teach kids and others the joy of skateboarding. Our mission is to complete Ormond Spencer Park in his honor and fulfill his legacy of helping others through skateboarding, providing a sense of purpose, accomplishment, community, physical activity, and fresh air for the next generation. We strive to preserve his dream and continue his legacy.

With Andrew it was his love and passion for skateboarding. We want to give all kids the chance and help to achieve their goals. Skateboarding gives kids of all ages self confidence, and pride. As they learn new tricks they learn how to balance their bodies, and get a lot of fresh air, and exercise (which is a big plus from having them stare at screens all day). Friendships are made quickly and no one puts you down for not being as good as them, skateboarders help others learn no matter age, gender, color, religion, or even handicap, as long as you have the willingness to learn and to always have fun!
